I bet you the top quartile of applicants get in at about a 98% clip
And those that get rejected in that range had glaring issues else where. That's aside from grade inflation.
There were only 11.5k applicants last year. 65% of them got admitted. Unless you think they're randomly hitting the deny button, the CB freakout is unwarranted.
