In my experience it's extremely hard. The worst part is actually catching enough bees in the first place.

Last summer, my first year, I only caught 14. And what I thought was "honey" — and spread on the toast of my young children — turns out to have been mostly just bee urine.

Anyway. Just wanted you to know what you are getting into before you start.
