In fact, Idaho added a child tax credit to offset the loss of exemptions
Utah didn't. Also Idaho lowered there top tax bracket from 7.35? to 6.925.
Utah just add there slightly but I am seeing that most people in Utah are owing more due to the loss of exemptions. So if you have a big family in Utah you are getting screwed this year compared to last year.
