Upthread, I went through all of the logic about the Zags' challenges next year. 

As I handicap it right now, USD, BYU and SMC will have better teams next year, while the Zags lose legacy players with only raw freshmen filling the key spots.

It is patently obvious that ESPN views the WCC as the second best league in the region.  It has an anchor franchise and the best (by far) TV markets.  The MWC is an ignored stepchild.

ESPN bends over backwards promoting the WCC and inserting its teams into desirable tournaments in the fall. Just roll with the flow, support your team, and make sure that the financial support remains  positive. Good things will happen.
