They are smart to file now, with the men missing the World Cup and them doing well in 2015 the last four years will probably have the best chance at documenting the disparity. A good lawsuit will need to look at a four year cycle of revenues.
One area where I do think is way off is it seems the USWNT plays two or three times more often than the USMNT. If this is because they make more money off them then it makes sense.
Another key is this was filed by the players and not the union. The union just renegotiated a contract and to have the players go separately is curious, if the players make up the union then what happened during those negotiations that was so wrong?
