The cat was cool; interesting twist of the enemy being the real victim. Still not really sure how she got her abilities: alien blood transfusion? Exposure to that power source / tesseract? I actually fell asleep for part, which also tells you something.

I just find it odd that this character is all out the most powerful of any avenger (can fly, in space, w/o suit, shoots bolts from her hands and eyes, is an accomplished martial artist), and the story didn't give a great explanation as to how that all came about.

We'll see how she stands up acting-wise when she's on screen with the other Avengers, some of whom are in fact reasonable actors (Downey, Johanssen).
