I'm a fan of all the greats of course.  Cosby, Wright, Seinfeld, Farley, Gaffigan, Regan, Chappelle, Hedberg, Romano.  Even Murphy, Chase, Rock, Sandler and Ferrell had their moments admittedly, though more hit/miss for me.

Please direct me, where in the Steve Martin body of work is the actually funny stuff?  I'm having a hard time finding it.  What to look for exactly in his performances?
