The main issue is rim protection. Baxter made a big difference there. Yoeli is a complete waste on defense. Love the kid and his offense but his defense is bad. Hardnett and Emery are overrated as defenders and often let their guys by. Emery has always been out of place on defense too. For some reason he sits in the key and his guy floats out to the corner for wide open threes.

TJ defends well, he is generally where he needs to be and has good defensive foot work. His biggest issue is his size, he is not strong enough to stop some guys. TJ is smart, he can't take risks on defense so he rarely is out of place. They other guys take way too many risks which often results in easy points. We need better defenders.
