Full disclosure, the Pac was really bad this year, but ASU deserved the play-in game compared to the other Bubble teams. And as you mentioned, Oregon played its way in by winning the tournament.

As an ASU fan, I was actually really upset that Oregon won. Of all the bid stealers, I thought the Ducks were the most dangerous for ASU and could lead to ASU getting left out. When Belmont and Temple were both announced, I thought my Sun Devils were out.
