True if you include minor leagues. But median income for MLB players is almost double the median for NFL players
Plus longer careers, less career-ending injury risk, etc.
More total jobs available in the NFL though, so you could argue that it's easier to get a spot. But the fallbacks aren't great either, and a AAA player makes a respectable $80K (<- the only respectable "80K")
From a financial/career point of view I'd probably want to be a baseball player.
