up to max 24 games per year (incl pre-season and playoffs, although the other sports totally eclipse that in the playoffs). Unfortunately, it'll never change because players bodies simply could not sustain even close to 160 games per year of football - even 32 games would be virtually impossible. And it's a huge challenge for 80 games of basketball and hockey, hence the increased flame-outs / career-ending injuries / burnout. Football probably generates more gross revenue per game than any other sport in the US, and likely remains the most popular sport in the US also, IMO - it's the gladiator in us all - but the revenue will never match that of the other sports. If Hall has a potential in MLB, he is absolutely genius to continue to pursue that. Football is way more fickle, and only a few truly succeed in the end. Jaren should definitely not give up his baseball "day" job.
