I believe that your intentions are good, however, your assertion is preposterous
Consider it in this light....
There were an ocean of rumors and "leaked" info regarding Big 12 expansion that were passed on in droves on CB.
Most of those rumors were false.
Those passing them on, for the most part, hoped that they were true.
If you have a standard that all rumors and "leaks" are required to be proven to be true beyond any shadow of doubt with no room for speculation, then you'll essentially shut down and sports board of any kind.
Most of CB would have been disciplines right off the board... and for the most part, without and real deficit in personal integrity.
