I totally agree. I just think it's interesting in what cases men and women choose to comment derisively.
Like compared to bulimia or anorexia nervosa, which was a good point. Or even obesity. The latter has changed over the last couple of decades I think it is triggered by a different feeling.
I think we look at anorexia with more empathy or pity. Obesity less so (but somewhat more than a couple decades ago). This seems to be motivated very differently in general.
