So there is no need to try and demean Jimmer’s college career. You write “I never understood Jimmer capturing the hearts and minds of an entire state”.

Ummm...he won national player of the year and the ESPY for best male college athlete. He had his highlights featured on SC every night. Not sure if you took geography at WSU, but Jimmer was kind of a big deal outside of the state.

If you are going to mock posts at another school’s fan board my advice would be to not use WSU logic.
