I understand the basic game, it's just too much of a visual mess as a spectator. With football and basketball, there's off-ball action, but the ball acts as a focal point — and most of the critical action fits within the same frame as the ball. With the esports it's a mess to try to follow. I sort of understand watching from the POV of a great player on twitch or whatever (I don't understand wanting to spend your afternoon that way, but it presents a coherent, follow-able perspective), but in a team match, it just seems incoherent as you bounce from view to view.
