had a decent turnout. Have you flipped on the TV and looked at one of the stadiums of an average or poor ACC or PAC-12 team? In an average year, BYU has far more students at a football game than either Utah or Utah State. And despite mediocre on-court results, BYU continues to have the best student turnout in basketball in the State.
People are looking at last season when enthusiasm was at an extremely low level. In football, we had just come off the worst season in half a century, and had little hope for a decent season.
Even at that, the ROC turnout was decent for most games.
Put a winning product on the field again, and you'll go from a decent student turnout to a great student turnout. It has nothing to do with the fee. It has to do with an entertaining product on the field.
