BYU has perhaps the largest fan base in the nation compared to the success
of the program over the past 20 years, and that goes for football and basketball.
In 2011, BYU averaged over 60,000 fans a game with a bad home schedule. But we were still riding the 2006-2009 wave.
Is there another basketball program in the nation that is Top 25 in attendance year in and year out with one Sweet 16 in the past 35 seasons?
Is there a football fan base outside the SEC that turns out the way BYU fans do without a single major bowl appearance in the past 20 years, or even a Top 10 finish?

Fans need to stop being apologists and accept that the ROC has been declining over the past few years.
