The live news, sports, etc is "AppleTV" (without the +)
You will get live sports/news/etc if you have a supported service (such as DirecTV or ESPN+). It's just an app that combines content for all the other services you pay for. The AppleTV app is free, but you have to pay for the individual services that it aggregates.
