At least he's a yokozuna and is allowed to do that, especially after Kisenosato was given a generous 7 basho to heal. More of a bummer for anyone of lower rank, like Toshinoshin. And how about Ikioi, who painfully hobbled through the entire basho on a bad leg? Terunofuji was ozeki and fell all the way down to jonidan due to injuries. He lost out on the jonidan yusho in a kettei-sen yesterday.
