It would be similar if he was terrible player and he bought his way on the team.
But if you earn your way through the merit of your talent and land a scholarship... you deserve to be there.
It is harder to make that team then it is to gain admission to BYU.
He would be a greater asset to byu than much of its students even if he wasn’t great in the classroom.
If byu can’t find a place for a talented running back that’s a byu problem not a him problem.
