I was a teacher and had all summer with my kids. Great times. Now we are empty
nesters and I have to say I am enjoying it. You don't realize the mental freedom it is when you aren't constantly worrying about where the kids are.
Ours are still close so we see them often but it wasn't so bad seeing them grow up and become adults.
