Also, the half-hearted argument he made about La Liga competition is laughable. La Liga include Real Madrid who is a top 3 club and better than anything in the EPL. Further, Atletico is very strong and would be top 3 in the EPL. Most leagues, besides the EPL, are even more top heavy than La Liga. Finally, when Messi plays against EPL teams, he still destroys them.
To say anything other than that he is a strong contender for GOAT should be dismissed as the silly talk of a hater.
