The last line of the OP is absurd. Elite players like Karlsson dont lose value based on one playoff series. Even one bad year when they have consistently put up incredible elite numbers throughout their careers. Thats my only saving grace with James Neal. We have another 4 years left on his contract, hopefully next season can be more like the James Neal of old and less like the worst player on the ice like he was this year.
