If a batter isn't allowed to flip his bat after a home run because it's too much of a show of showing up the pitcher - then I say the same rules apply to the pitcher fist pumping and showing up a batter after a strike out.

I still think the whole idea of flipping bats being an afront and fist pumping not silly.
