My wife had read/heard something about stuff leaching from the concrete. But I guess if you're changing that often it shouldn't matter too much.

What do you do with the water you dump?

I thought I read that they advise not directly on a concrete floor. Also, dump out and refill every 6 months.

Mine are in the garage. I empty and refill them on Saturday afternoon of each general conference
