There were a lot of people who didn't blame Elijah Bryant for leaving for Europe specifically because he
had graduated and wasn't interested in grad school. It certainly made his situation more understandable. I would think that even those who finish their sports eligibility will still try to finish their grad degree even if part-time in the off season if they're able to go pro. Seems someone (foof maybe) said Jordan Leslie finished his MPA degree.
If someone knows they have no intention in finishing, I'm not sure why a program would want to accept them. If they only have 10-12 students a year, that would really skew the completion data which is a big deal for accreditation purposes.
I really hope Williams can come but it should be a matter of finding the best fit for him rather than forcing a program to accommodate him. There should be a program out there but it's possible not if you really know all the details. I imagine due to FERPA laws, no one on here really knows.
