Dame's 28 and McCollum is 27. So they aren't old, but they aren't really young. 32 and 33 year-old players in the NBA usually have already begun their decline (see my post above).

Nurkic is 24, but not a star in my opinion (he's a good player who had a very effective year). Zach Collins is 21 but not very good. Harkless and Kanter? Not very good in my opinion.

I wouldn't buy their future. Their time to get it done is really now with Lilliard and McCollum in their primes.
