I remember one game I played in the playoffs one of our best players was finishing his check, guy landed awkwardly and was carted off. The refs huddled together and gave him a 5 min Major and a match penalty. We lost the game.

Refs make bad calls all the time. Hard to fault them when a star player is out for the game because of the play. Double minor was the right call based on replay. But refs don’t use replay in hockey for penalties. So they had to huddle up, one said it looked like a cross check to the head, the other said he is bleeding and out of the game, that has to be called a major.

But the refs did not give up 4 goals. That just cannot happen with a team as good as the Knights. You have a coach of the year behind the bench too, call that timeout.
