It works for us
I’m not saying it would work for everyone.
We’ve both made sacrifices for the other throughout our marriage. She has actually started tapering back recently, and it was her choice. She isn’t running any hundred milers this year, but still has the NY Marathon and trains at 4 AM.
She had to put up with being married to a lawyer turned startup guy and 80-100 hour weeks when our kids were brand new. She’s earned some time to pursue her passions.
