I received a bogus speeding ticket about 10 years ago in Orem. I did my research, I brought calculations showing that from where I turned my vehicle was incapable of reaching that speed over the distance (300 feet), I found out that the ticketing officer radar license (don't remember the technical term) had expired. I spent like 20 hours preparing and I was polite and humble.

The Judge was a complete and utter jerk, he must of been having a bad day. He didn't care one iota about anything I had prepared. It was an extreme waste of time. '

So it is worth a try, but realize that you could be wasting a lot of time.
