like 5 days after my mission and after not driving a car for 2 years

I was on my way to a job interview and because of an accident I was running late. I was going 60 in a supposed 35. The cop pulled me over, I told him I was 100% positive I saw no speed limit sign, he assured me that there was.

He gave me the ticket, I went to my interview and on my way back I noticed that there was indeed, no sign. I took pictures and even got out of my car and noticed that there actually was a sign, but it was knocked over.

I went to my court date and present the pictures of the knocked over sign. The cop who pulled me over did show up and was furious with my findings he made me stay at the court house while he drove out to the area to ensure I was telling the truth.

He came back in an outrage and accused me of knocking the sign over after the fact.

They determined that they would still give me a ticket for going 60 in a 55 since that was the speed limit of the street I turned off of, prior to the street with the 35 M.P.H sign.
