There have been lots of bad #1 overall picks. Besides the ones you mentioned,
Andrea Bargnani, Kwame Brown, Joe Smith, and Pervis Ellison all went #1 overall. Anthony Wiggins and Markelle Fultz aren’t looking like great #1 picks either, so far.
