I have a lot of respect and appreciation for Gary Crowton. IMO things went off

the rails with the Nevada game. The team flew in the day of the game because they couldn’t find nearby hotels.

Even more importantly I think it messed with Engemann’s head to get benched at half time. Crowton was still in an NFL mindset with how to handle QBs.
