We sat front row at FSU in the FSU alumni section behind the FSU bench in all
BYU gear and had a great experience. No trash talking, no being obnoxious. Just respect. When that happens, your point is spot on. How people treat you is all about how you act as a fan towards them.
-Last year we sat at the 50 in Camp Randall in the middle of all the Wisky boosters in all BYU gear and they were very kind and gracious...even the walk all the way back to the car their fans were complimentary of our team's performance.
-2011 the Ole Miss fans in the Grove and the ones we sat in the middle of behind their bench at the game. Gutted by the KVN strip/sack/TD but not at all unkind towards us.
-2012 in South Bend the ND fans went out of their way to make sure our experience was top notch (and it was)
-Ann Arbor was no different - Michigan fans were not only kind but when it was clear UM was dismantling BYU they didn't rub it in but almost seemed to feel bad for us.
-UVA fans in Charlottesville around us were kind enough to share umbrellas during the monsoon-like rain that fell on our mid-field seats.
-I can't speak for the fans at MTSU...since BYU fans made up the majority of those in attendance
-GT fans were incredibly complimentary of BYU and all said they hoped we enjoyed our time while in Atlanta. Exact same thing could be said of fans at Cincinnati. Their fans even went so far as to tell us where opposing teams came out after the game so we could go see Taysom and Co after.
-Bulldog fans in Starkville wished us well before the game and commented on much they enjoyed talking to other BYU fans they met that day and that they were glad BYU fans were as engaging as they tried to be (vs when Ole Miss came to town).
-Mizzou fans were great. Some who were sitting on the front row behind the BYU bench saw us approach the field before the game and asked if we wanted them to move for a little so our kids could say hi to the BYU players.

That's a snapshot of our experience. Bottom line is if you are civil
