My friends and I had fans come up to us on the street away from the campus to welcome us to Oxford. One guy was in his driveway as we walked by and he said hello, welcomed us and came out to visit with us for a few minutes. Later we were walking through a neighborhood on our way to the BYU tailgate party when a guy came out of his house to ask us if we were hungry. He then told us to come by his tent in the Grove after we had gone to the BYU party and he told us where to find him in the Grove.

I was absolutely amazed at the reception we received. Even after the game the people were friendly. Later in the evening we were at a restaurant several miles from campus and we still had Mississippi fans greeting us and complimenting us on having so many fans come to the game. One guy said that we had more fans there than they get from other SEC schools. There's no doubt about it. My best experience was at Ole Miss.
