when you play up. BYU was in the WAC and MWC...we have moved on and we are Indy. USU and BSU are G5 schools, which by definition is beneath P5 schools. I didn't come up with the separation, that is on the people controlling all of this mess.

So before you question if I am a BYU fan or not, realize what is the current landscape of CFB. For 8 years, BYU has played a front season P5 schedule, this year, probably the toughest out of the gate and I'm probably the only one on the board that prefers BYU to play up.

So yes, remove G5 schools BSU and USU and put in P5 schools, it could even be mid to low P5 teams, which ALL P5 conferences play. Do that, you remove any question (especially IF BYU wins those games) that BYU defeated opponents. It is called playing and beating your schedule.

So, the idea in 1984 when BYU won the NC was done on the field, which is where ALL games should be played and results earned. Not BYU fault that they are ridiculed by some so called BYU fans, namely CJF. No fault of BYU that MICH was the team that BYU faced, that is on the committee and they have to answer to that inquiry. As for BYU, they played and beat their schedule and was rewarded under the existing landscape what was rightly theirs.

Playing a Kent State as an OOC team compared to a Duke (ACC) earns you less respect and the dishonesty that appears at the committee level just shows how flawed the system is. BCS is the same as CFP. Not BYU fault at all. For BYU, just beat your schedule and shut up the so called BYU fans.
