The only other guard that arguably had a better resume than him this year was Bradley Beal and his team had a terrible record. The next best players to consider would've been Ben Simmons, Mike Conley, and Jrue Holiday and I don't think any of them could make a legitimate claim for inclusion above Russ. Luka Doncic, Devin Booker, and Donovan Mitchell were the next 3 best SGs statistically and their profiles were lacking for All-NBA inclusion this year as well.
