Lillard scored 186 more points and had 190 more assists. His VORP and WS are
both better as well.
Per game averages help tell us who the better player is, but you need to look at the entirety of the season for All-NBA honors. If you’re not on the court then you’re not helping your team win.
Kawhi, LeBron, and AD all missed too many games to earn a first team spot. IMO Curry did too when you have a guy like Lillard out there with comparable per game stats, a heavier load on his shoulders, and playing 11 more games in the regular season.
