I disagree. As you back in the spot is clear making it faster and easier to get
Into the spot. When backing out of a spot you have to back out much slower as you have to be more aware of cross traffic and pedestrians.

The two forward parts are essentially the same, but backing out is potentially significantly slower than backing in.
