Every good coach taking over something that needs overhauling understands the time needed, and welcomes the challenge. They don't think what did I get myself into. Stuff like this is what pushes them.

He picked the right year. He's doing what he can for short-term fixes, already has some in place for next year, and he can go from there. We'll see if there's another departure. This roster mess needed work. But there's not one thing about taking this job he would think twice about.
