I don’t think the NBA is rigged, but let’s not act like the Raptors just beat
the Celtics or the Sixers in the EC Finals. They just beat the Milwaukee Bucks.
Even if the NBA were completely rigged, it’s not clear to me that the league wouldn’t have preferred the Raptors to win that series. They expand interest in the league in Canada and build up an interesting storyline (Kawhi’s free agency) just at the right time.
This is the problem with NBA conspiracies. Almost any outcome can be spun as being consistent with a conspiracy somehow.
