Yes, definitely. But after observing an anesthesiologist during a surgery, I realized the jokes about them are true.
After bringing you to the brink of death, they just sit there and don't do anything (until they bring you back from the brink of death).
Then again, dentists don't do anything either. But anesthesiologists make much more on average to not do anything.
