What do we actually do to clear the weeds from the lawn? Can you just bury/spread the dead weeds around as part of the backfill and regrading process?

Pulling weeds is just pruning weeds; they'll spring back immediately. Gotta use RoundUp.

I recommend round-up, then 2 weeks after cover it with black plastic until...
