Well he didn't have the numbers to back it up, and even being on

a deep team, you'd think the best ever would have demanded more. Fewer than 50 catches and 3 TDs as a senior. A 15 average. That's the best ever? The best isn't about what could have been. It's what was. Pitta, Smith, Hudson, and maybe Brown are ahead of him (some of these guys were breaking national records and had huge numbers). I'm not sure how we can say what he did was elite at BYU.
