set their depth chart with four 4/5 star guys. But what is the recruit thinking when he commits to a program who has a 5-star starter, and two or three more 4 star backups who will all have more experience?
It really annoys me when they go somewhere knowing this, and then they throw a fit when they don't play. Both Tua Tagovailoa and Najee Harris at Bama did this. Um, both of you committed to a school with set-in-stone stars starting, and then you throw a fit when you don't get the PT you want as a true freshman? Grow up. They're a little too full of themselves.
Some are obviously good enough to beat out the guy in front of them. But if so, just shut up and do it. You didn't see Trevor Lawrence being a baby when he didn't start the season as the #1 guy. He put his head down and went to work.
You can tell when some of these guys transfer two or three times, they're just never going to be happy, and obviously they don't have the work ethic or the skill to show they should be starting ahead of the other guy.
These guys can keep committing to Washington one after another. That's perfectly fine. But you better be ok with waiting your turn behind the 3 other guys rated as high or higher than you.
