With your limited information in my experience here would be my answer
If you hope to make money, flip or sell in a year, don't do it currently.
If you plan to stay in this home for at least five years if necessary, go ahead and do it.

My answer would also be different if the price range you are entering into was higher. There are always buyers willing to purchase entry level homes. Investors will also purchase those as rentals. Personally, I would not purchase a condo. I always refer to them as a keg of dynamite with a fuse. It will never be free and clear due to association fee and "special assessments".
