I hate when businesses advertise they close at a certain time, but then
deter business from coming in for the 15-20 minutes leading to them closing.

Just drove by Sub Zero near Thanksgiving Point, been at the hospital nearby for baby #3 and had to get out. They supposedly close at 10, but at 9:45 they had already turned off their business sign as well as their “open” sign.

If you want to be out of there by 10, I have no problem with that. The solution is you actually close at 9. Otherwise don’t try and pretend like you’re closed before you really are. One of my many pet peeves.
