On the other hand, as with any type of cooking, you can really screw things up too. Several years ago my boss had a party at her house for all of us employees and spouse/significant other. They cooked the food in DOs. What they intended to serve was teriyaki chicken, but what came out of the DO was more like something you'd pull out of the La Brea tar pits. It seriously had the consistency of tar. It was inedible.
