and enjoy the shops there and get a balboa bar. You can take a fishing trip out of there if you’d like. If you head south you can watch surfers and bodyboarders catch gigantic waves at the wedge. Slightly north of the peninsula is the Newport pier where you can rent bikes or skateboards and cruise the boardwalk or rent a surfboard and surf. If you’re still looking for things to do drive pacific coast highway down to corona Del Mar and check out the tide pools at little corona beach, probably one of the coolest beaches you’ll find. Then get dinner somewhere nice in corona Del Mar or go check out the shops or restaurants or whatever else at fashion island. You could also ride a bike around the back bay which is fun. I grew up there and these are probably my favorite things to do.
