Is anyone saying that's THE one reason? No. It's football, there are always a ton of factors that go into a program's success or failure. Is it one of the few factors that contributed to a struggle? Absolutely, no doubt about it. And I think it is also something that gives Mark Pope a leg up with the basketball program. He doesn't have to learn how to do things at BYU.
